What's your favorite workout song?

This weekend, the DFMC first-timers had a meet & greet and program overview meeting.  There were probably about 50 runners there, and we were all split up into smaller groups.  My group, Team Stronger (named after the Kayne West song, although I am on Team Taylor!), started talking about different music that kept us motivated to train.  From hip hop to rap to country, there was quite a diverse range of songs that I was able to add to my playlist.  In that vein, leave a comment with your favorite workout song(s) so we can add them to our running mix!

Needless to say, I left the meeting feeling motivated and excited to really ramp up my training.  So during the nor'easter yesterday, my roommate Michelle and I decided to go for a quick 4 mile run.  Not only was it wet outside, but halfway through our run, it decided to start pouring.  Our clothes were soaked and the rain was dripping off the brims of our hats.  Bottom line: I think I'm going to be able to handle running in snow better than running in rain - it was miserable!!

It was great meeting you on Saturday, Amanda, and I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone in team Stronger.

Of course, as I mentioned at the meeting, I have an overwhelming preference for Bruce Springsteen. Just about anything up-tempo will do, but "Cadillac Ranch," "Ramrod," and "Working on the Highway" are all particularly good (all in addition to the more obvious "Born to Run," of course).
