Spring...finally.

Where has the time gone? I swear we still had months to go, but now we are down to weeks. Less than 6 weeks from today we will be running Boston. CRAZY!

With that, it means that spring has finally almost arrived in New England. On our Saturday group run last weekend (16 miles of "rolling" hills), we were almost hit by a herd of deer. Imagine about 20 runners running down a road in Waltham when our teammate Kelly says, "Oh dear". We all assumed she was talking about her run/shoes/anything, just not actual deer. I think there were at least 10 that came out of the woods and ran across the street right in front of us. Good thing we're slow, or that might have been dangerous! In addition to the deer sighting, I was finally able wear capris and a t-shirt for the run! IT WAS AMAZING! The run itself felt even better since I wasn't all bundled up with gloves and a hat and wool socks. I felt free :) Let's hope the weather on April 19th is similar.

The singles we selected (through a rigorous application process) are busy planning their dates, and getting themselves ready for the big night.
